Abin serves as the lead physiotherapist at Hail Mary Health Hub. His journey to becoming a physiotherapist was driven by a deep-seated desire to assist individuals in reclaiming, retraining, and optimizing their abilities, ultimately enabling them to lead fulfilling lives by gaining a deeper understanding of their bodies.
With extensive experience spanning various age groups, Abin adeptly diagnoses and treats a wide spectrum of musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, and neurological conditions. From common complaints like lower back, shoulder, and neck pain to acute sports injuries, osteoarthritis, and pre- and post-operative care, Abin’s expertise shines through. Moreover, his proficiency extends to neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s, stroke, and multiple sclerosis, showcasing his commitment to comprehensive patient care, including older adults’ health. Abin has successfully completed courses in Pilates, dry needling, Tai Chi for falls prevention and balance, as well as various strength and conditioning programs.
Abin’s passion lies in collaborating with individuals from diverse backgrounds, guiding them back to their cherished activities. He is fervent about promoting movement, fitness, and overall well-being, empowering clients to maximize their life’s potential. Lakshmi is dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with 13 years of experience. Lakshmi is an experienced registered nurse with demonstrated history of working in the public hospital, community, and aged care settings. She has high skills in nursing management, medication administration, critical care nursing, medical – surgical, acute care, aged care, Health Assessment, Patient Education, and Patient Safety. She assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for patients according to accepted nursing practice and standards.
She uses strong communication skills and humour to develop strong relationship with patients and families. She works in consultation with other health professionals and members of health teams, and co-ordinating the care of patients. Lakshmi provides interventions, treatments, and therapies such as medications, and monitors responses to treatment and care plans and promotes health and assists in preventing ill health by participating in health education and other health promotion activities. She answers questions and providing information to patients and families about treatment and care. She also supervises and co-ordinates the work of enrolled nurses and other health care workers.
Mrs. Abraham is an active member of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation ensuring she keeps up to date on the latest evidence-based approach. She loves spending time with her family outside of her work.
